Big beat heavyweight DJ Zinc’s music transcends all genre; indifferent in quality the entire way through his career. His music encompasses and draws influence from all walks of electronic life. Early on in his career, as a selector, he got a name for himself picking out early DnB on the then pirate Rinse FM. Through the Naughties and 2010s he did his stint as a House producer. Zinc released the huge Wile Out in early 2010 – commercial growth ever since. Having recently dropped Deeper with Chris Lorenzo, Zinc will be putting on an unsympathetic roots DnB set for the white room along side MC AD. Expect wubs.
Manchester based spinner Anz is part of the team reviving the Northern Rave scene. Anz’ zany four track EP Invitation 2 Dance harks back to early 90s eccentric synthesised sounds and rhythmic break beats in support. No Harm sports a lively and vivid soundscape FourTet would be proud of, moving into a heavy club ready breakdown. Her sets feature everything from afro-beat to jungle, from techno to disco, leading the night in the direction she sees fit.
Jungle fanatic and pirate studios regular, SIREN takes no prisoners while mixing. Her DnB filled sets will leave the most avid dub fans wincing at the sheer power of the bass she puts out. Bassline and Jungle, liquid is not a word in SIREN’s lexicon. The heaviest of sounds will be experienced during her performance; an ode to everything bass.
